Terengganu (formerly spelled Trengganu or Tringganu) is a sultanate and constitutive state of federal Malaysia. The state is also known by its Arabic honorific, Darul Iman ("Abode of Faith"). The coastal city of Kuala Terengganu which stands at the mouth of the broad Terengganu River is both the state and royal capital as well as the largest city in Terengganu.

The Crystal Mosque or Masjid Kristal is a mosque in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia.A grand structure made of steel, glass and crystal. The mosque is located at Islamic Heritage Park on the island of Wan Man. The mosque was constructed between 2006 and 2008. It was officially opened on 8 February 2008 by 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu. It has the capacity to accommodate over 1,500 worshipers at a time. This is one of the beautiful mosques in the world.

The Terengganu State Museum was established in the year 1976 under Enactment 1976 Vol. 9 and approved by the state assembly on 28th of December 1976, effective on 1st of November 1977. The history of the museum begins with the discovery of the Terengganu inscription stone in Kampung Buloh, Hulu Terengganu by Syed Hussein Ghulam Al Bukhari in the year 1902. This inscription stone which is the earliest to be found written in Jawi (Malay in Arabic Script) was exhibited at the Raffles Museum, Singapore in 1923. This was to be an iconic artefact for the new museum.

The Floating Mosque is located in Teluk Ibai, just over 4km away from Kuala Terengganu town centre, south of Batu Buruk beach. The mosque appears to be floating on water, hence the nickname.

Noor Arfa is a pioneer of the much acclaimed batik industry in Malaysia. The Noor Arfa story has a humble beginning in 1980 in a small atelier in Kuala Terengganu when the husband and wife team of Wan Mohd. Ariffin and Noor Hijerah started designing and hand-drawing their own batik cloth. The venture, known as Noor Arfa, is an acronym derived from the combination of the names of this young and enterprising couplej. It was soon destined to grow by leaps and bounds to the multi-million dollar corporation it is today.
